News: Almeida announces full Alma Mater cast

The Almeida Theatre has announced final casting for Polly Findlay’s new production of Alma Mater by Kendall Feaver.

As already announced, the play will star Lia Williams (The VortexMary Stuart, The Crown, The Capture) and Phoebe Campbell (House of the Dragon; The Importance of Being Earnest), alongside Liv Hill (The Jungle, Top Girls), Liam Lau-Fernandez (A Playlist for the Revolution), and Susannah Wise (Three Sisters).

They will be joined by Olivier Award winner Nathaniel Parker (Rock ‘n’ RollWolf Hall), and Nathalie Armin (The Doctor).

Directed by Polly Findlay (AssassinsBeginning), this new play by Kendall Feaver (The Almighty Sometimes) is billed as a sharp new look at the ever-growing generational divide between activists, centred on Jo Mulligan, the first female master in her prestigious college’s history.

The creative team for the show also includes Set Designer Vicki Mortimer, Costume Designer Fay Fullerton, Lighting Designer Jessica Hung Han Yun, Sound Designer Ian Dickinson, Composer Alev Lenz, Movement Director Shelley Maxwell, and Casting Director Amy Ball CDG.

Alma Mater runs at the Almeida Theatre from 11 June to 20 July 2024.
