Some photos to whet your appetite for Mike Bartlett’s double penetration in London and a notable cast change in Get Up, Stand Up!
Though the news has been dominated by the chaotic first preview, production photographs of Taron Egerton, Jonathan Bailey, Jade Anouka and Phil Daniels in Cock at the Ambassadors Theatre – Mike Bartlett’s Olivier award winning play about love and identity have been released to whet your appetite even further.
The first images of the full company of Scandaltown, a brand new comedy and irreverent satire also by writer Mike Bartlett and directed by the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s Artistic Director Rachel O’Riordan, have been released.
Scandaltown is a modern restoration comedy, set in post-pandemic London, full of immorality, political hypocrisy and the machinations of a fame-hungry elite. The world premiere production runs at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre from 07 April.
Producers have announced that the hit production Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical has extended booking until 29 January 2023. The critically acclaimed production has just been nominated for 4 Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical and has just welcomed Michael Duke who has taken over the role of Bob Marley from Arinzé Kene.
