La Ménagerie de Verre to stream via ITALive on 26th November 2021
La Ménagerie de verre (The Glass Menagerie – Tennessee Williams), starring Isabelle Huppert, is Ivo van Hove’s second directorial effort for Théâtre de l’Odéon in Paris. In 2017 he created Vu du pont, based on the classic by Arthur Miller.
I actually went to Paris to see this right as COVID-19 was scything through Europe and found out the performance had been cancelled whilst I was on the Eurostar. So I got to spend a weekend in a city just about to lock down, right before our pwn lockdown hit – such fun!
