News: The Human Body completes its cast at the Donmar Warehouse

The Donmar Warehouse has revealed the rest of the cast joining Keeley Hawes and Jack Davenport in the cast for the world premiere of Lucy Kirkwood’s The Human Body at the Donmar Warehouse. The production marks artistic director Michael Longhurst’s final production as director at the venue.

Joining Hawes and Davenport in the lead roles are Tom Goodman-Hill, Flora Jacoby Richardson, Audrey Kattan, Pearl Mackie and Siobhán Redmond, with additional characters played by members of the company. The production will begin previews on 16th February and runs until 13th April.

The play, a romantic drama, follows the implementation of the National Health Service Act, as threaded through a love story in 1948’s Shropshire.

The Human Body’s creative team is rounded out by designer Fly Davis, lighting designer Joshua Pharo, sound design and composition by Ben and Max Ringham, and video design by Nathan Amzi and Joe Ransom.

Kate Waters provides fight direction, with casting by Anna Cooper, assistant set and costume design by Rimu Kwok, assistant lighting design by Cheng Keng and assistant sound design by José Guillermo Puello.
