Now that The Sex Party has come to a close, the Menier Chocolate Factory are moving swiftly on by revealing the cast of their forthcoming show Marjorie Prime, scheduled to open on 15th March until 6th May.
Anne Reid will take on the title role with Nancy Carroll as Tess, Richard Fleeshman as Walter and Tony Jayawardena as Jon, joining her in Dominic Dromgoole’s production of this UK premiere of Jordan Harrison’s play.
The play is set in an age of artificial intelligence, with 85-year-old Marjorie using a new companion programmed to feed the story of her life back to her to help her fading memory.
The production also features set and costume design by Jonathan Fensom and lighting design by Emma Chapman.
