Playhouse Square will host a three-part streaming series, Live from the West Side: Women of Broadway, featuring Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti and Vanessa Williams.
Cost for the series is $75 ($30 each) and includes an additional 72 hours of on-demand viewing of the performances. Proceeds from the sales will benefit Playhouse Square.
All three performances are at 8 p.m. Saturdays:
Oct. 24: LuPone
Nov. 14: Benanti
Dec. 5: Williams
Each high-definition show will feature a mix of Broadway tunes, pop songs and personal stories. Performances will take place at The Shubert Virtual Studios in Manhattan. Those watching will be invited to email questions to be answered during the livestream.
The livestreams are being shared by more than 20 nonprofit arts presenters. Playhouse Square’s participation is presented by Medical Mutual of Ohio.
