The nominations for the 2017 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards have been released and naturally I have thoughts. Initially, they are:

- but less celebrity influenced than usual
- no love for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf
- and less love for Angels in America than I was expecting.
